Movie Review
The story has all the elements of a Sai Prakash movie - sentiment, comedy and tearful sequences. But the question is how relevant is the subject for the present generation.
The story revolves around Bhaskara Rao (Ramesh Bhat), a rich industrialist, and his homemaker Sharada (Padmaja Rao). Bhaskara Rao wants a baby boy as he thinks he can save money and also earn cash through dowry.

The couple abandons the first baby in the hospital itself as it turns out to be a girl. When a son is born, they give him a lot of attention. But tragedy strikes the couple when the son and his lover force Bhaskara Rao to sell his property on the pretext of opening a factory in the US. The son takes all the money and leaves his parents in the lurch by not taking them to the US. The shocked couple decides to take refuge in an orphanage run by Teresa (Anu Prabhakar). What awaits them is a shocking but sweet situation. What is that?

Ramesh Bhat is at his best. Anu Prabhakar has done justice to her role. Padmaja Rao is impressive. Music by Vijay Srinivas and camera by C Narayana do not impress much.
